Fishing Spots in Hokkaido

Hi guys, how is it going? Have you got bored of your ordinary life lately?  

If so, why don’t you go fishing? There are a lot of places where you can fish in Hokkaido.

This time, I’d like to introduce some of the places and the fish you can catch there.

The first one is Ishikari-wan-sinkou. It is one of the most famous fishing points in Hokkaido because it’s close to the center of the town and we can go there easily. It is also a huge fishing port so you can get many kinds of fish! In addition, It's pretty close to our university and the students can go there easily so I recommend going there even just to see the scenery. It will make you relax!

The second is Otaru-koh which is a very famous fishing spot and also popular as a sightseeing spot in Hokkaido so you can fish on the way to go sightseeing!

You can get flatfish and Atka mackerel in Spring and you can also get sardine and squid in Summer there. If you go to Otaru, I recommend swing by LeTao which is a famous sweet shop and to eat the Double Fromage which is the most famous cheesecake in this shop.
