The sister city of Eniwa

Hello, everyone.

Today I want to tell you about the sister city of Eniwa. Every city has its own sister city, but do you know where your sister city is?  For Eniwa, the sister city is Timaru, New Zealand.

 

In Timaru, there are many churches, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of medieval Europe. To put it simply, it’s a nostalgic town.

 

What Eniwa and Timaru  have in common is that they are cooperative planned developments; to better preserve nature in and around the cities.

   

Since 2001, symposiums have been held in order to revitalize each city, and international exchange dispatches between junior and senior high school students have been held every year. Furthermore, here in Eniwa, there is a shop selling goods to introduce Timaru.
