As you know, Hokkaido has great nature. We’ll recommend you to visit some of the gardens on the Hokkaido Garden Roadway. This is a group of 8 gardens in Hokkaido. We will introduce some of the gardens there.
Shichiku Garden
This garden was originally made by one woman, called Shichiku-bachan; she passed away in May, 2021. The garden is about 6 hectares in size and has about 2500 kinds of flowers. It’s difficult to go there without a car, but I recommend you to go because the garden is a wonderful place and it's a great spot to take a rest while driving.
After you enjoy the flowers, how about a delicious meal. The garden operates a restaurant and you can eat lunchboxes in the garden while seeing beautiful flowers.

Garden of the Wind
It is located in Furano. We can feel nature throughout this place. What is more, we can enjoy seeing flowers that change according to the season.

The Forest of Rokka (Six Flowers)
Do you know Rokkatei; the famous pastry manufacturer in Hokkaido? The garden has fewer kinds of flowers than other gardens which belong to Hokkaido Garden Roadway. So you have to search which season is the best to see flowers. They have the Flower Calendar on their website.
However, you can enjoy art while strolling in that forest. This is the biggest characteristic of this garden I guess.
After enjoying a relaxing walk, how about licking your lips with delicious sweets. You know, the garden is runned by the pastry manufacturer. Which means there is a factory next to the garden. You can try rare Marusei's butter sandwiches ice cream, which is not sold as souvenirs.
