Moerenuma Park

Hi, I'm Taisei.

Moerenuma park is one of the famous parks in Hokkaido because of its features.

 

It was designed by Isamu Noguchi, who was a famous artist in the world.  So you can see artistic mountains , fountains, and playground equipments  here.

 

 In addition, it was located on the place where garbage disposal site used to be. There is even a pyramid made by glass, which uses snow to cool inside. It was designed considering the conservation of the natural environment. These are also the reasons why it is so famous

As you can see, you also enjoy doing sports hereThere are 15 tennis courts, a article field, and a track. However, just remember you have to pay for these facilities if you want to use them.

Athletics stadium:1,200 per 1 hour

Actually, it is just 7 km from our university to this park. You can reach this place for one and half hours on foot. If you are free, I recomend you to go here.
